Has anyone ever had the Frozen Sunshine here? I'd love to see a picture. I think my DH will pick it for his dessert on our May trip. If it's not good though, maybe I can convince him to get the Milky Way Sundae (I want a bite!) For me, it's No Way Jose all the way!

I'm also wondering what the "dessert of the day" usually is for the kids meals. Some kind of ice cream?

For the DxDDP are there any appetizers here? (not that we need any, but I was just wondering.)

Would you choose Roast Beef sub, Cheeseburger, or Chicken Ceasar salad for an entree?

What would you recommend to drink? I'm thinking maybe Coke with chery syrup.

How in the world will I eat all this food? :eek

At least it's our only real meal the day we plan to go there!

YES...I have had the Frozen Sunshine...and it was GREAT....not good...GREAT

I'll be having another one on 9/4/2010...I cannot wait.

We were also on the Deluxe Meal plan last year and they had Onion rings for an appetizer. My DS16 and I had burgers and they were very good.

I can't answer most of your questions because I haven't had the frozen sunshine, paid any attention to the "dessert of the day", or used the deluxe dining plan.

That being said, I'd pick the beef sandwich or burger over the salad. I think the chicken soup might be considered an appetizer, but the menu itself is quite limited, like a Johnny Rockets.

And the No Way Jose is my favorite sundae there.

For our family we all would eat the burgers (probably the best burger on Disney Property), never had the apps because we don't do the dining plan, plus allows us to have dessert. Speaking of, I love the No Way Jose , DH loves to get a milk shake or malt, and both of my DDs love the Mickey Mouse Sundaes. We will be back there in 8 days (plan on going there our first night and then head over to the bridge to watch Illuminations).

Chicken noodle soup, onion rings or chili may be ordered as an appetizer on the deluxe plan. any dessert except the kitchen sink can be ordered as dessert for an adult.

Just reading these have made me want a snack! We are going in June and can't wait to explore!

I think I'm going to order an entree to just box up and take back to our room and eat later for dinner. (The Ceasar Salad probably lends itself best to that. Although we will have a microwave--so maybe the beef sub or cheeseburger?)

Thought I'd ask one more time for a picture of that Frozen Sunshine. :)
I promise I won't bump it again just for that. :goodvibes

I haven't seen one on the food porn threads, but there is a lot to sort through!

I don't have a picture of it...but it looks like an orange milkshake with pieces of orange slice candy on top....very,very delicious

I'd get the burger or sub over the salad. It's a very basic caesar with too much dressing. It's going to be hard to eat an appie, main and dessert there. The food is filling! But don't skip dessert!

I agree. These are the best burgers in Disney IMO. DD and I ordered the double cheeseburger with an extra bun. They brought extra lettuce/tomato for the extra bun. Great way to save a few pennies. We had a chocolate brownie monster of a dessert. The whole meal was great.
