Lets See What type of vmk cards you have

Lets see i have...no no thats not right, oh wait yup it is, 0.

Okay, so this thread had me wondering just how many cards I actually have.

So... being the obsessive compulsive arranger that I am, (I probably should be a librarian the way I like to put things in order) I made up a spreadsheet listing all my cards. I listed them by series and then numerically with columns showing the number and name of card then quantity of cards entered/used and not entered/used. I know - strange:rolleyes2

Anyway, I came up with a total of 458 cards with 128 still not entered!

Mind you, I've been collecting them for a year now and we have a family of 4
who go to Disneyland monthly if not more often. I have also asked friends to get them while at the park for me. Also, some of the cards were collected before the 90 days rule was strictly enforced.

Random facts:

- I don't have all of the cards in the series and am missing quite a few because I started playing late and I've never been to WDW (although I would love to).

- The card that I have the most of is The Happiest Celebration on Earth with a total of 28 (a CM was very generous to my son one day and gave him a stack). Coming in at second most cards is the Jungle Cruise Explorers tent with 19.

- The card that I have the least of is the series 1 card 29 of 30 Virtual Magic Kingdom Credits with just 1 (collected just 2 weeks ago as an alternate card for a quest they ran out of cards for).

-I recevied a few cards in the mail from VMK with my Everest Ride-A-Thon shirt that I had won.

If you've actually read this far without falling asleep, a great big thank you to you for reading my ramblings and have a Magical VMK day!:thumbsup2

Well, im not bragging or anything but im up to a hefty 0 cards, lol:lmao: . Good job Astro, start playing vmk after your trip to WDW. lol

I am scared to count my cards. If I did that...I would have admit that I have an addiction :rotfl2: If I decide to count them I will let you know :)

I also have a big fat stack of 0 cards. I did just start playing last month though. Being an adult and having friends who are adults, what is the best way to ask them to get cards for you when they have no idea what VMK is? Is it a real pain to get them? I would love to have someone get me some when they go but it seems hard to explain. Especially since I have never gotten them on my own and really have no idea how to go about getting them in the first place.

It is easier to go on the Card Traders Thread on the Trade board. That is where I got many of mine. Post what you need, and people will offer to send them to you. Then when you have doubles, you help others out my sending your extras to them. It works out very well.

Tampa, what do you keep your laundry in?

And to get back on topic, I have at least one of each of the entire set. I also keep mine in a binder with plastic sleeves.
