sorry if you've read this twice, I posted here and on the Budget Board :flower:

OK, lets say you can pick ONE character meal.
Which would it be and where?? <breakfast/lunch/dinner>

We were not going to do one but I'm thinking maybe we should.
This will be 3 of our children's first trip and 2 of them haven't been since they were 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 so basicall a FIRST time family trip to Disney
<hopefully first of many!> :cheer2:

There will be 7 of us <2 adults, 5 children>, we are going the end of June.
If we decide to do one, should we call now for reservations??

Thanks!

For us, we chose PSB. There is better food offered elsewhere, but we truly only had a desire to have pictures and meet the face characters, like the princesses, so we choose the princess meals.

Though I will say that I love 1900 Park Faire for breakfast, as well, because Mary Poppins is there!

The food is secondary to us, with characters being #1 - what are the fave characters for your family? We've done many of them, just right now we like the princesses (or should i say my husband likes the princesses, we don't have children yet!)

We absolutely loved Liberty Tree Tavern. It was so nice to be in the Magic Kingdom. If you time it right you can just walk out and sit down for Spectromagic. My kids got a huge kick out of seeing the characters "dressed" up to look colonial. Also the food was very good.

I would also choose Liberty Tree :)

Great character interaction and it is indeed amusing to see the Disney characters dressed up colonial style :)

Also, I really love the food there. It's all you can eat for dinner and I think its so delicious there. I dream about the stuffing when I'm not in Disneyworld and I dig into it when i go there. All of the food there is great :)

My only concern with it is sometimes the wait is really long, but I found that if you get there earlier then your schedules PS time, sometimes you can get in real fast.

It's worth trying at least once....there's a good chance you'll want to go back for many more times after :)

are the children all girls, all boys, or both? one we enjoy is donald's breakfastasarous in aK. LTT is a great dinner! :earboy2:

Our kids are 17 and 15 now, but when they were younger, this was always a priority. We were always amazed at how much fun they had at a character meal. Some of our best memories.

Our fav: Garden Grill at the Land Pavillion. We always liked being able to ride the rides first thing in the morning, and made our character meals for late lunch or early dinner. :3dglasses

I am assuming you have 3 girls and two boys based on the mickey heads?

To please everyone, I'd say Chef Mickey's (plus, you can go on a non-park day if you have such a thing and it's like a bonus!).

I have never been to LTT because for some reason the colonial costumes put me off.

We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Girls as well as boys will both enjoy. If you have boys I wouldn't recommend any princess meals.

I would opt for the character lunch at Cindy's Castle. You get the characters, the thrill of eating in the Castle, and the food there is way better at lunch and dinner than at breakfast
