Let's say you kidnap a Travelocity Gnome and something happens to him- update post 84

shouldn't you have given gnome #2 a mudbath so he looks good as OLD..???:lmao::lmao:

I could have gone that way I suppose. I gave him a bath because I was afraid he looked too good to be gnome #1. The bath (mainly the picture of the bath!) was to show folks back home that we washed away all the dirt from his "many" (*cough*) travels.:rolleyes1

if you don't come clean about the gnome accident, this guy just might come knocking at your door

:scared1: The Gnome Patrol!

Look what my cousin sent my grandson for his 2nd birthday. :rotfl:

Carter loved it when we had the kidnapped gnome with us, and he really got attached to it. I was telling my cousin this, so she figured it would be the perfect gift for him. She got him the smaller, 8 inch Travelocity Gnome. When Carter opened it at his birthday party, he was beside himself with glee and kept saying, "gnome, gnome, gnome!" I'm sure the other two-year old guests didn't quite get his excitement.

The funny part was when I called my cousin to tell her how much Carter loved his gnome. She mentioned that she didn't think it could break easily, but maybe to be safe, he could set it up on a shelf in his bedroom to look at. I almost choked, then agreed with her that it'd probably be best to set it up in his room.:rolleyes1

I'd also like to report that gnome #2 arrived back home in Maine all in one piece. I wrapped him in tons of bubble wrap and packed him in foam peanuts. Didn't want to take any chances! Again, tho, I laughed nervously when my cousin was telling me about how careful they were when unwrapping him and taking him out of the box. She even said something about thinking how awful it would be if something happened to the gnome after having traveled so far.:scared1: I'm certain they have no clue that it isn't the same gnome I kidnapped from their garden. Some day...some day...:rolleyes1

I

I think she knows you broke Gnome #1 and is toying with you:rolleyes1

I love that your grandson has his own gnome now--too cute:goodvibes

I'm prettty sure that she doesn't have a clue about the broken gnome. Of course, if she does, then the joke's on me.

I'm surprised you were able to keep back all the laughter. I would have been :rotfl:
