I'll start... I just wanted to do something fun (not that I don't have loads of fun on this board), I just wanted to see everyone's silly pics of them & their families with silly Disney hats, tiaras, ears... etc. :wizard:

ARRRRRR Matie's Pirate ears for us:

Nice hat Mikamah... I am trying to figure out what it was. Which hat is it, I am still trying to guess. I love trying on hats at Disney & elsewhere... I just think it's silly fun !!!:lmao:

That's my dsil in the goofy hat, (i think its goofy), and my ds in the donald and stitch, my dniece in the pirate. It is fun to try them on, and my son would love to buy them all, so our pictures are our souvenirs. Love your kids pirate ears. Very cute.

one of our favorite activities...trying on hats and taking pics!!! :cool1:

Dear Disboard friends, just a word of warning concerning this from personal experience. A few years back the kids were trying on many different hats on our trip and they brought some little visitors back home with us in their hair. Yes, the dreaded "L" word. The DW and I were spared. We tracked back everything that could have been the source and the hats are the only things that the kids did that we did not. We even slept in the same beds as them on many nights. Let me tell you what... those were the hardest things to get RID of (pun intended). It turned out that hair dye finally did the job. I was never worried b/c I could just cut all my hair off and still look OK, but the DDs did not have that option.

Please learn from our experience and pull the try on hats from the back of the rack. It is still not fail safe, but your risks are very reduced. If you are going to buy one, ask for a CM to get one from the back.

That said, here is one of me from about 6-7 years ago taken with a disposable film camera.

Perhaps not the silliest of hats, but I thought my younger son looked hilarious:

Yikes! I've never even thought of the possibility of getting lice from trying on hats. Thanks for the tip, Kevin!
