Let's pick the Chicago DIS meet date---looks like April 12th is the date!!

While everyone is partying in Chicago on April 12th, we'll be in Columbus with DD Sarah's middle school Science Olympiad team. I had to wait until yesterday to see if their team was going to advance to the state finals. Boy did they ever advance. Their team received the 1st place regional trophy. Sarah earned a 5th place ribbon and two 1st place gold medals for her efforts.

This will be the first springtime Chicago DISmeet that I've missed in 3 years, but I can't think of a better reason. Have a great time. Take (and post) lots of pictures.

So do we have anymore info on what the day holds for us? Looks like we should be able to attend. DW got her schedule and doesn't have to work at the Disney Store that day. So, what's the scoop?

I will have to make a new post on the meet over the weekend, but the plans, from what I see (this seems to be a laid back meet, LOL), is lunch at Cracker Barrel at noon on the 12th, after a couple hours move over to the food court area at Gurnee Mills, and if we are still going strong late afternoon,

then the Branding Iron BBQ.

That's great, We4, been a long time since you guys have been able to come to one.
