I think we're going to see a lot of different pieces available for the new water slide. Maybe:

uphill piece (may be only available this weekend)
downhill piece (may be only available this weekend)
right turn
left turn
straight piece
ride start piece
teleporter
blizzard beach pole (short w/snow on top)
blizzard beach pole (tall w/snow on top)
typhoon lagoon pole (with palm leaf top)
typhoon lagoon pole (no palm)

I'm guessing we'll be able to build a ride WITHOUT using the uphill and downhill pieces, since there ARE straight pieces available. If we don't use the uphill and downhill pieces, though, the ride will look disjointed (like the river ride) when we put the pieces at different elevations. By using the uphill and downhill pieces in the ride, the ride has a continuous, unbroken appearance.

So....it could be that these uphill and downhill pieces are available as a bonus this weekend only. Just my two cents.

Anybody else have a guess?

There is the raft with two holes
The pirate (i think its pirate) ship
Pole with bird
Seats with umbrellas
Blue boxes
Pink Boxes

Yes! I noticed the new pieces of furniture as well. Smells like a new in park quest to me? To bad it will probably be for Blizzard and Typhoon.:( Any thoughts?

Good thought disneyfanlv. I hope it's not a quest for those water parks... :sad2:

I think it is a quest in VMK... in the events section one of the events coming is aquatic quest and i think maybe you can get some of the new items...

and the water rugs- don't forget those- they look just like snow rugs except they are water...

me, you might be thinking what i am thinking, but i have seen ice rugs.(looks like ice to me at least) but i think it is water.

Ohhh, I missed the water rugs! Was there one particular staff ride that had them? I want to see.

There is also innertube seats.
And i think the poles with birds are lights.

I loved that new furniture, and the rooms etc. I hope they will be available to us without having to go to the parks!

I love the Blizzard Beach chair lift seats!!! And I really liked the light poles with the seagulls. My family and I are going to WDW July 19th for a week, so it would be great (for us at least) if there was a water park quest. I also hope the pirate quest is out before we go down.

Also, I tried to lift the slide pieces on boxes but I can't. I also tried with pirate chests, but the height needed to put each piece together is just too weird, they don't line up with each other. So I think that the only thing we will be able to use to give the ride height, is those palm tree poles, and snow pole things. Am I making sense?? :confused3 :rotfl: I've been sliding a lot today, I think I need to lie down, LOL. :lmao:

There were also little palm trees that looked to me like you could stack up the pieces to make them taller (kind of like the pirate chair sticks).

seems to me there probably isn't two different ones of these poles but that they all will have either the snow or the palm on top unless you stack something on top of them. When they are stacked or something is put on top then the decorative part probably disappears. Just my two cents though :)

EDIT: I stand corrected maybe there are two different sizes. I just saw the pics in a post later in this thread and it does show tall and short poles. Now that has left me to wonder why do that when they can just be stacked? :confused3

Holy smokes you might have a point there I hope they are available to buy as well because if not this will become a hot trade item, many people could probably only get a dozen which is a short ride.

Here are some of the new things that were spotted, with pics. Enjoy!

where you get straight piece

I was just pointing out the ride pieces I saw in the staff ride-a-thon. We can't buy any pieces yet. Hope all these go on sale this week! I still have a hunch that the uphill and downhill pieces will be available only from the staff ride-a-thon, by the wording from the newletter.

Thanks everybody for posting pics of the new items!

I saw a friend use the crates and yes it didn't line up quite right but it still worked. I did a test with the Dead Man's Chest and it seemed to me to work perfectly. Either way I would not be too concerned because if it is true that the uphill and downhill pieces will not be available after this weekend then many people will have slides that don't really line up.
