Without the knowledge of my family, DH, DD-14, DS-10. I recieved a pin a for summer, add in flights, tickets, and QS at POP, our vacation came in at ~$6800, i waited too long to book and nothing available when i finally decided to book. 
Booking ro discount the same vacation plan came in at ~$8000 for the same dates
Now looking at FD with the same vacation plan on dates in november are ~$5800
i work in the school system so that is a nearly impossible time to get time off! And can i take my daughter out of school for 10 days during the first year in high school? Not worried about my DS missing elementary school
Now that i see the savings i am having a hard time justifying the $.
Starting over for 2015 and cross fingers for a pin that i will jump on!
Glad my family has no idea or i would win mother of the year!
