I'd like to dine with other families each night. I mean, I eat with my family every night and some new conversation would be GREAT! Does anyone know if you are seated by family or do famlies share tables? If so, how and when do I quest such an arrangement?

OH my gosh! It's almost here! So much to pack and too few suitcases!

We're a family of 5 and had our own table. I think some families share tables, but you're seated with those people the entire cruise. You rotate restaurants... not table-mates.

If you want to be seated with other famiies request a large table. We were a family of 5, and requested a large table. we were seated with another family of 5 with kids the same approximate age as ours.

I agree with you, I do enjoy sitting and talking to others during dinner, on past cruises (on another line) when it was just my husband and I we have had the BEST tablemates, which made dinners some of the best times of the trips!

Why not consider eating lunch or breakfast in the dining rooms with new families? The sitdown breakfast and lunch are less formal than dinner and you will be seated at a table with others who are not your dinner partners.

IT is wonderful to have breakfast and lunch with other families - for dinner I like to have my reservation joined with a DISboarder that I've met and "clicked" with during the threads. We have a lot in common and can share memories later on.

But that's just a personal choice!
