Hey there fellow Disney Foodies!!!
I've read SO many dining reports and reviews over the last few weeks. In addition to making me hungry, they've been insanely fun and helpful to read. Thank You!
With my trip just a few weeks away, I thought I'd take a stab at a dining trip report. So exciting!!
I love to eat, eat, eat and EAT some more. So, getting the dining plan (for the first time) is both fun and stressful. One of the biggest debates I've had is whether we should stay with the DDP or upgrade to the DxDP. I think that the final verdict is that we are staying with the DDP and seeing how that goes.
Anyways, on to the Cast of Characters.
This picture is from a surprise trip to DL. We used to live in So. Cal. and one day I came back from work to find DH home early from work with Disneyland tickets in his hands.
Awesome.
DH (36): DH is in the front of the SM flume. This will be his first EVER trip to WDW. I am beyond excited for him to see it and to eat at all the amazing restaurants. He's starting to get excited but I don't think he can fully grasp WDW until he sets foot on the property. His favorite rides at DL & DCA are SM and Soarin' Over California. In terms of food, he's asked to go to T-Rex. He also wants a Bratwurst from Sommerfest and he loves marinara sauce!
Me (35): I'm a freakin' out over this trip. It's been a really intense few weeks of planning. I've been to WDW about 15 times, however I haven't been in nearly a decade. My sister was a CM for years so I've followed along with some of the changes but am just too excited to get down there and see for myself!! I'm really looking forward to trying 'Ohana. I could eat an endless amount of dumplings and chicken wings. I am also really excited to eat my way around the World Showcase! If I had to pick a favorite ride it just might be the Haunted Mansion. My favorite restaurant was Alfredo's. I was surprised to see that it was gone
, but I hear great things about Tutto!
