Let the truth be known the Capt EO ride was named after me.

Hey there is no way to prove it, so with that backing me I’m going to say that the Captain EO ride in Disney World, and still popular in Japan, was in fact named after me Ed Otero.

It was an honor bestowed to me after I saved about 458 people when the twin engine Cessna plane I was in lost a wing, but as luck would have it I was able to make a one point landing, and all walked away.

The plane is still there kept for all to see, at the Congo mini putt putt golf arena in Maitland.

So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. :teeth:

So Ed, you and M.J. are real close? ;)

He's a jerk met him once two of his bodyguards pushed us in the dirt at WDW when he was on his way to a closed ride, that was closed so he could ride it alone.

It was raining and we were in his way so he just had a few of his henchmen push people out of the way so he would not have to touch anybody.

I yelled out "see thats why nobody likes you Jocko" He did turn around just long enough to see my hand jesture and then he walked off. A Disney problem solver was in tow saying how sorry they all were for this, and offered us Dinner at any WDW restaurant, that was nice, but we declined it was not Disney's fault just that jerk of a man or woman or whatever it is. :teeth:

From all your posts this morning, I am guessing...

Slow day at work, Ed?
