"Where are you", "We are almost there", "Well Come on we want to get this party started!"....Day -1 (yes, that's minus 1, we started off the cruise with a day at Magic Kingdom).
Jacob (the little bro) lives about an hour south of me so he came over Friday night as we had plans to visit the Magic Kingdom to get into the Disney Spirit the day before our cruise. So we got up early Saturday morning and started getting ready when I realized I could not find my wallet or pass, total freak out mood sets in. About an hour later of frantic searching we find my wallet and it's go time.
We arrived to the Magic Kingdom just shy of 10am and Jen, Terry and Ana had planned on meeting us around 4pm as they would be driving down from North Florida. We made our way through the entrance quickly and before we knew it were were on Main Street! It still gets me choked up everytime.
We headed right for the Haunted Mansion. John (my fiance) and I had been to visit the Mansion a few days earlier when it opened but were "dying" to see it again. The line stated 45 minutes and it sure was, due to the passholder priority entrance the regular line was a bit slow. But it was the Mansion and we would wait all day if we had to...lol.
And for those of you who have seen or heard about the infamous "ring" at the Haunted Mansion it's now been covered.
If you get the chance you must go see the new additions to this ride, it's incredible and really feels like a brand new attraction. GREAT work WDI.
After the Mansion we headed over to Phillarmagic and got right in there. I love this show and of course me being the photo hog had to have John snap a photo of Jacob and I in our silly Opera glasses.
After Phillarmagic the park was really packed, we were really hot and hungry. We voted to head to lunch outside the park and come back when the rest of the gang arrived. So off we headed back out and ended up going to CiCi's pizza, Jacob's choice, and then the Florida Mall.
Fast forward to 5:30pm I think to myself wow, where are the rest of the group, so I call them, "where are you", "we are coming", "but where are you"... I'm excited to go back to the Magic Kingdom. Ugh! They call back again and tell us they are about 15 minutes away so we rush out of the mall like chicken's with our heads cut off and head back to the MK.
We meet up and head over to the Ferry Boat.

By now it's pushing 7pm so we head right for......The Haunted Mansion again! We ride it and then head over to Thunder Mountain.
The line was also 45 minutes so we grabbed fast passes and went to Peco's Bills for some dinner and to wait for them to expire so we could head back to the ride.
We all had a great time on Thunder Mountain, it's one of my favorites and the kids' too. I had two extra fastpasses so I gave them to Ana and Terry so they could ride again and while we waited for them the three of us watched Spectromagic wind it's way past us. They caught up with us about 15 minutes later and we headed down the Splash Mountain bridge and caught the tail end of Spectro together. Being the sap I am I had to hold back the tears as Ana and Jacob waved at the characters and shouted out their names. And of course tomorrow I would be taking them on their first
Disney cruise!
We all headed back to the car tired and ready for bed and made our way back to Cape Canaveral, tomorrow would be the big day!
Up next.... Adventures Away.... Day 1 of our Wonderful Cruise!
