How fitting that I look out our windows and I see big white fluffy snow flakes. The flakes won't amount to anything but as we started planning a trip as a "winter-get-away" back in November and it turned into a spring vacation of a life time its perfect. We are leaving Toronto in less than 7 hours and will be pulling our pop-up to the fort for the first time.

Our DS (4) is so excited to ride the RAIL! He's a train fanatic and for the last 4 months every night he wants to watch monorail videos on youtube. He also love Mickey so the excitement has been building today.
Our DD, (21months) is our little Tink and she takes her Tinker Bell everywhere. I'm not sure she is aware that we are going to Disney but she is searching all through our house for our two dogs and calling out their names today. The dogs have gone to my parents house for a little, "kids" free vacation of their own where they will be spoiled by their Nanny and Poppa.

My DW, a massage therapist, has been working long hours this month to get all of her monthly clients in for their massages and will have to work hard when we come back as she is already completely booked for the next month. She is the one that needs and deserves the vacation.

Me, I'm a stay at home dad that runs the business while having the best job in the world raising our two children.

Disney here we come!

1420 miles, two overly excited kids, one beautiful wife, one tent trailer, and MY first trip to Walt Disney World

Have a wonderful time. You are going to have a blast!!!!!

I'm sure you will have a great time. I'm excited for you. The fort is a great place. I love WDW

GO FISHING !! Uhh, I mean, Hava great trip !

Off topic: :rolleyes1

I must say, I have been lurking around this site for more years than I can remember. :goodvibes As you can see by my numbers, I am still earning my ears. But every time I read "Frank messages", I can't help but think, "Frank and my DH would get along GREAT!!". :thumbsup2 That is all he wants to do. If we spent the entire time at FW just fishing, he would be the happiest man alive. :rotfl:

4 years ago, we did the chartered bass fishing trip in early morning. (You can check out the pictures here http://www.flickr.com/photos/i_like_pickles/sets/72157623824135342/ ) But I am thinking about just turning him lose to fish where he will. Are there any places, other than the docks, that are off limits?

Hi guardwife66! :welcome: I'm a army vet wife, although, DH was already out before we met. Still counts right? Fishing excursion looks great. My bro has said for years "This year I'm gonna do it".

PS. From the looks of it, you may already have your ears. I had mine many years before I actually joined the Disboards.

scboyd: How much farther? Are we there yet? How much longer....... All joking aside for now. Your family sounds terrific! I am getting excited for you. Hope your trip is everything you ever hoped it would be!
