Let Camping Season begin!

Wow - those trees are beautiful! Sorry to hear about the hungry kids. I know well how hunger and tours don't go well together.

We took our camper to the lake this week for Spring Break. It's an hour drive from our house and I still had to work this week so I drove back and forth.

It's been so cold and rainy. My Mom has stayed all week with four kids! She said she wanted to be off so I told her I would work. Now I think she wishes she had worked all week. LOL

Our camper is coming along nicely with the Disney Theme. Beds all made with Star Wars, Fort Wilderness items hung on the walls, Mickey Kitchen and a few things outside. Can't wait to do a little more shopping and by the time we take them to the lake to leave them for the summer we should be completely "Disney" made over.

Our next trip to the Fort isn't till Nov. so I'll just have to enjoy what Disney I can till then.

bama ed, nice family crew you have there - some happy go lucky kids!

We are 'empty nesters' of three and really miss them, but enjoy the quiet and peacefulness also LOL.

Alayne - I'd love to see pictures if you feel like posting some! I love the idea of Disney themed makeover! DS1 has his FW blanket and the kids' mickey ears are in there, but otherwise it's pretty stock. I want to make each child a Disney quilt, but need to find some cool (not cheesy) fabric for their beds. By the time I'm done (will probably take me years) they'll probably not want them any more!

I do plan to post pictures this summer. We went for Spring Break but I wasn't finished yet so I didn't want to post any pictures. When we take our camper back to the lake to leave for the summer Memorial Day weekend I will finish decorating and get everything set up and then post the finial pictures.

My DH and his friend have to make my Mickey Lamp and I have another friend who is painting some toy boxes for the kids. Plus I have some items I want to order but I have to wait till I get some extra cash.

It has been a lot of fun decorating the camper and my whole family is loving it.
