I also found some ADORABLE pink corduroy with disney cupcakes all over it and bought a yard - gotta figure out what to make with it now, but I just couldn't pass it up.

Two weeks ago, I bought a new car. I hadn't planned on it till after the disney trip, but when DH's Hyundai blew a head gasket, it was kindof decided for us. So, now, I have a beautiful 2015 honda crv, with nice light tan interior.

I'm going to choose to ignore the circumstances and just say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Super jealous!

Little monster can't grasp the concept of "keep your filthy sneakers off the back of my seat," so I had an emergency sewing session today and made a seat-back cover with pockets. it's made of outdoor canvas fabric, so should be able to take a beating. For having no pattern or anything, I'm really pleased with it.

It looks awesome and store-bought, dude! Great job!

Unfortunately, at $15/yard, I only bought one yard. Then I had to scramble to find a pattern for something December appropriate that I could make little monster that would only require one yard of it. Lol.

Took a little Roadie to the Disney outlet this morning, and look what I found!
Anna boots in little monster's size. Now her deeeeluxe Anna costume will be complete.

My daughter has those boots, and were actually a good disney shoe purchase- she was able to wear them the whole Xmas party last year, and still wears them on a regular basis around the house. Right now, though, they are on a drying hiatus after a mud romp

I know most folks celebrate double-digit day, but I'm weird so I'm going to celebrate the fact that I'm 100 days out today!!!!

I started this thread at 300 days, and can't believe how time has gone. It's both dragged and flown, impossible as that is. Lol.

Have been doing fairly well lately, all things considered, and snatching up little things for the trip as I go. Nabbed a handheld clothes steamer the other day, which will be great for little monster's costumes. Took little monster to the company picnic, where she got her face painted, as a "scary rainbow cat":



But generally, things have been quiet. Here's hoping everyone is doing great!

I know exactly how you feel! When I started my PTR, I had over 400 days to wait. Now I'm at 94. Like, where did the year go?! Why did it take so long to get here?! It's like both!

I'm trying so hard to wait until early October! My final payment date is Oct. 20, and I have all the money saved up in my DVA, but I know it's supposed to sit there for so long before you spend it in order to get the bonus gift cards. I'm not worried about them not coming in time for this trip, since I'm just going to apply them to next year's trip anyhow. But I as I've been pulling money out of the account to pay for the last-minute trip I took back in April, and then also to deposit next year's trip, I lost track of how long certain amounts have been in the account. So I'm waiting until October 1st or so, just to be safe. But MAN, it's killing me because I want that satisfaction of having it paid off FOR REAL. I want to see that $0.00 balance, man!

Just made one quick change today - saw that scifi was going to be testing breakfast while we are there, so I nabbed an 8:00 ressie for that, and cancelled the dinner we had there that day. I moved out H&V lunch a little bit later in the day, too. I think it's going to work very well for us this way. I'll pay for the breakfast OOP and use the TS credit on the more expensive Biergarten lunch.

Now, if only they'll hurry up and release more info on the skippers canteen… I've only got one spot I can fit it into without a big mess, so if I can't get it, I can't get it - but I think it would be a hoot.

Well, they released the info on Morimoto's today, and DH was a bit heartbroken to hear there will be no omakase menu.

So, he decided on Narcoosee's, and I was able to land a 9:05 reservation. We're going to move Little Monster's kids club ressie to the Poly, just a short ride away on the monorail, so that will save a little transport time.

I have a rental car reserved, but am still not 100% I'm going to keep it. I keep being all waffle-y. It would save on transportation time, perhaps significantly so. But it's $200 I'm not keen on spending. I will probably decide "for sure" the day before. Lol.

I've heard nothing but WONDERFUL things about Narcoosee's. It's definitely on my Signature Dining bucket list for when I finally break down and do a trip with Deluxe Dining!

I have a rental car reserved, but am still not 100% I'm going to keep it. I keep being all waffle-y. It would save on transportation time, perhaps significantly so. But it's $200 I'm not keen on spending. I will probably decide "for sure" the day before. Lol.

For what it's worth, I park my car at the resort and do everything that I can to avoid seeing it for the rest of my trip. Granted, I don't have a Little Monster in tow, but I've always been pretty content with the time tables for the Disney transportation. I don't mind planning ahead a bit. Not to mention you might want to bus to MK anyhow, since if you drive, you have to park, then tram to the TTC, then monorail or ferry to MK. It ends up taking just as long, if not longer, than taking the bus.

I've thought about the uber thing, but they don't have car seats, so they're a no-go. Taxis are an option, I suppose, but one $20 ride a day would pay the rental car. See? I get wishy-washy.

Our last trip was all "grown ups" and we didn't see the car for 10 days, and I remember it going fairly well. I'm just afraid to lose that "security" blanket again. So much has changed in the last six years.

I've got the spreadsheet with my fastpass plan of attack - I think I posted it here a few posts back, but I don't think it's entirely legible. Lol. It sucks that we're having a big quarterly meeting at work that morning. I'm going to be SOOOOOOOoooooo sleepy after getting up at midnight to make those fp's!!!

Tomorrow night is FP night, and I don't know how I'm going to survive until then. LOL. I'm already all antsy.
