Less restaurants on dining plan?

I know I've been totally out of the loop lately but due to daycare costs, we aren't planning our trip until 2014. Anyway, I was taking a look at the restaurants that are covered on the dining plan for 2013 (a friend wanted to know since she is planning her trip next summer) and it seemed like there are a lot less restaurants on the list compared to when I went three years ago. Is that true? I noticed Tutto isn't on it anymore. Have a lot others been taken off? Thanks!

The restaurant list for the dining plan isn't finalized until December or early January. Usually the restaurants that take the longest to sign their contracts are the one's in DTD and Epcot. I would tell your friend not to worry. Check back the first of the year and they should all be there. I don't know(actually I can guess) why Disney puts out the list for the next year without the complete list of restaurants. It tends to confuse people.

Thanks! I appreciate it!

On the WDW dining reservation site, there is a box you can check that shows which restaurants accepts the DDP - I discovered that there are a lot more than is listed in their current DDP brochure

And Tutto (and Via Napoli) are on the list

Be careful, the website is usually less accurate than the printed brochure in numerous ways. Brochure is best.

The last brochure I saw was three months old and the website is allowing me to make reservations based on restaurants that accept DDP, though
