Definitely interested in staying at FW. Have stayed many times at DW resorts, but never in FW. (Only have been in FW area twice, both times for HDD revue only.) We tent camp occasionally elsewhere, but did not know if FW campsites were all RV's/campers or if there were any tent campers. Also, my teenage daughter would be MUCH happier in a cabin. I was curious as to the least busy times for FW, including any differences in availability for campsites versus cabins. Thanks so much for any help!

Well the least crowded times are Oct, early Nov, early Dec, Late Jan, Feb & early May.

FW has the Partial hook up sites which are for tents and pop ups. They have water & electric. There are two loops with Partial sites 1500 & 2000. You might want to check out the resort tour at www.disneyzone.actusa.net

The campground is very popular especially for any holiday. Many guest come and never set foot into a theme park. They just enjoy the atmosphere and the nicest campground around. The sites do have a tendency to fill up quickly at these times. The cabins are still a hidden secret at WDW so they are easier to reserve for the most part.
