Questions -
1 - what about luggage? Lesley, did you just let DME deliver it to your room? Didn't you have a carryon or anything? I just wondered, since you basically went straight to the park.

2 - Diane, so you were able to get a FP using Lesley's KTTK even though she hadn't used it to enter the gates? So you can get a FP at a park even if you're not in the park? I didn't know this. This could come in handy.

I can't believe the construction either! And the short wait times! The food at the Plaza looks better than I thought it would, and I had never heard about the Mayor and 100th customer thing. Cool! That banana split is almost as ridiculous as the girl's shorts!

My neighbors just returned from Disney this past weekend with reports of the cheerleaders and funny you should mention the short shorts, she mentioned these as well.

Great Questions:
1). Yes, we both checked bags, Diane had a small bag she left at Bell Services and I should have mentioned that I had a laptop (must carry it with me due to work). If I didn't have that I would have gotten off at the first Grand Floridian stop and gotten to the park faster, instead I waited until the WL and gave it to Bell Services and THEN got on the boat.
2) Diane and I talked strategy knowing she would get there WAY before me, I told her my fav. ride was Splash Mountain so she got one right away and at the next open window she got another so we had 2 by the time I arrived and then she had gotten one Space Mountain and when I arrived I got one for myself, hope this makes sense.
Glad you are enjoying things so far. Yes, her Banana split was ridiculous, that's why I was making my "pathetic" face (although it didn't come out well) with my little pathetic sundae compared to her HUGE banana split : )

Hi Susan! just adding to Lesley's reply, no, I didn't use her KTTW card. We both have annual passes. I used my annual pass to get the 2 Splash mountain FP's and 1 Space Mountain FP, using it the way Lesley described. You cannot use a KTTW card to get FP's if that person is not in the park. Hope that helps!
