Lens for Canon Eos5D

for me:

24-105 f/4L IS
70-200 f/2.8L IS
300 f/2.8L IS
400 f/2.8L IS

or you can just get the first two lenses, and use the rest of the money to buy a fully equipped Toyota Yaris.

Thanks for the suggestions. The lenses are for my husband, who is converting from Nikon to Canon.
Kelly, he would probably rather have the lenses than the car, but he might have to wait a bit for the last two!

This is what I'll be buying after my next trip to WDW... and on thru most of next year...

The only one I'm iffy about is the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L.
If I put a 2x Extender in with the 70-200mm, it'll have almost the same focal length/aperture.

you may want to rethink about the 100-400. I used to have that but the pump action (instead of twist to zoom) actually pumps dust into the sensor like there's no tomorrow.

Started with a 10D and the 28-135 lens a little under 3 years ago. Before switching to DSLR, I used various generations of the Sony Mavica and Cybershot...from the ones that used a floppy disk up to the 707 (which I still have and use for specific situations)!

Some women like diamonds, some like furs....I like a good camera or lens! At least my husband doesn't have to wonder what to get me...
