Length of time from the Dolphin to Contemporary?

Will be going from the Dolphin to the Contemporary for 8:00pm PS at Chef Mickey's on Sunday June 3rd. What's the best way to get there and how much time should I allow for?

According to the "TWiz", it will take anywhere from 11 minutes (via car) to 56 minutes (bus via AK). Here's the link:

Another option for you (if MGM park is still open) is to walk or take the boat to MGM and then transfer to the bus for the Contemporary. I'd allow 45-60 minutes for this option.

Actually, I think the best option is to bus to the MK and then walk over to the Contemporary. I'd estimate this would take about 30-35 minutes, depending on how long you have to wait to catch the bus at the Dolphin stop. If walking doesn't work for your party (or maybe it will be the only chance your children have to ride the monorail), then by all means, after you get to the MK, grab the resort monorail. It's really fun to arrive inside the Contemporary, and you may even get a glimpse of Chef Mickey's which is directly below the monorail.

Best by Disney transport is bus to MK, then walk over to Cont (bus takes about 25 to 30 minutes, walk about 5). If you don't want to walk from MK to Cont then hop on MK resort monorail at MK once you get there and take the monorail to Cont. As there may be waiting time for bus (and monorail if you go that route) best rule to follow is to leave your room about an hour before your scheduled time at the restaurant. If you take a car or taxi you can get there in under 15 minutes.
