length of stay pass question

I know this was somewhat addressed in another thread but what is the deal with the length of stay passes? If we are Sun-Thur we can just pay for M-Th (4 days)? What sort of DVC discount do we get? Sorry I should know this.

Yes, you can ask that the day of arrival (Sunday) and the day of departure (Friday) be dropped from a 5 night/6 day ticket.

The DVC member discount on UPH (Length of Stay) tickets is 10%. The discount is applied to the gate price. Don't forget to add in the tax (6.5%).

This is good to know. I never even thought to ask this question. I always assumed it was from check in to check out days.

You can ask and they usually grant the request. You should know though that the rules say for entire stay including day of arival and departure. Some have been denied when asking for both days to be dropped.

I've been told that only the day of arrival OR the day of departure can be dropped from a UPH, but not both.

The official rule is nothing can be dropped. Still, MANY have been allowed to drop both and it's rare (though happens) that someone was denied this request.
