LegoMom's "I'm Goin' to Disney World!!" accountability journal

Welcome back Legomom. I have been slacking most of August, but we can both get back into it!  :cheer2:

What fun to have a trip coming up so soon.

Hi Legomom- I just checked out your journal for the 1st time today. I could have written your 1st page except I have about an inch and a half on ya. :thumbsup2

I never thought it would be this hard to lose 10 or so lbs. It's nice to see someone in the same boat.

You can do this- especially now that your trip is in the foreseeable future!

Good luck! :Pinkbounc

Boy you aren't kidding! Ugh. Sometimes progress seems sooo slow. I'm trying to stick with my eDiets program, which is going pretty well. Not perfect, but pretty well!

I've stopped beating myself up over not exercising every single day. It just can't happen for me. I am not a morning person in terms of exercise; I really just don't warm up and feel ready to exert myself until mid-day. I find I get my best workouts in during the early afternoon. I tried late-afternoon/early evening the other day and felt like I was just poking along. So, needless to say, if my day is busy and I can't fit the workout in between noon and 4:00pm, then it usually doesn't happen.

But!...if I can work out even 3 days per week, I know I've done my best!

I have lost 2.5 lbs since starting eDiets the other week, though!! I'm pretty happy about that. If I can keep it up over the next 3 weeks until our trip, I'll be right where I want to be.

Then I can eat my way around the World on Free Dining!!!!!

Congrats on the 2.5 lb loss  :cheer2:

I don't do well exercising in the evening either. I am just too darn tired/frazzled/drained at that point.

When you are at WDW you will be getting LOTS of exercise walking everywhere so that will help offset free dining! :rotfl2: What a great trip to look forward too.

Have a wonderful week. :sunny:

Odd as it may seem, I'm actually planning to get up before the rest of the family (not so hard to do! :rolleyes1 ) and doing some "exercise" walking around POR before taking my empty mug for a coffee fill-up in the mornings! I love to walk for exercise and have a 2-mile loop I do here at home. POR is such a sprawling resort that it lends itself nicely to some power walking!

Good for you planning early morning walks while at WDW! :cheer2: That is great. I love to walk too, and I am not really a "morning" person. Also, DH is more of the "Commando" type when it comes to theme parks. He likes to be there when the gates open and keep going until the park closes at night. If I tried to get up and walk first, I would never make it through his day's plan.
