I have to say Legoland was fabulous for a 3 yo. We rented a hotel nearby (in Calabasas) so he could take a nap, but for the most part he loved it!

All three of my boys adored LL! It was as big a hit as I had hoped.

I hope you meant the hotel was in Carlsbad, not Calabasas. Calabasas is at least 2 hours north of Legoland.
