I saw some junior rides-such as cars that my son meets the height requirement for, but it says 3 and up. He'll be 32 rides. Anyone know if he can ride these? Or do they check to see if he has a ticket? (which he won't need, since he's not 3).

If he meets height he can go the problem with the cars is that they go in and drive them by themselves. As a parent you go and seatbelt them into the car then you go out of the road way and they have to depress the gas and steer themselves. If he can handle that he will be fine. The other rides you can ride with him so no big deal. You can always watch other kids doing it and see before getting in line.

We didn't go when DD was that young, but he might have a problem with the Volvo Jr Driving School - DD does the full-size version, and every single time she's been on it they have every single kid tell them their age (mom/big sibling can't say it - every kid says their own).

If he's 32" he's limited on what he can ride, but for that age there's tons of fun without riding. Dino Dig now gives out pails and shovels for free, there's a lot of things to spot throughout the park, various placces to build with blocks, playgrouds to play in, and more water fun than you'll want.

In the park there's a sheet - "what to do when you're two" - it's red and usually right there when you get in. I think I've seen it on the website, too, but I'm not spotting it today.

Have fun!

Whoops! I meant 32 months, 37 inches!

I'm just trying to figure out if it is worth it for 2 hours. (driving from San Diego to Los Angeles. The tickets are awfully steep. DS also would have a tantrum probably if he saw rides he really wanted to go on and couldn't. I'll see if he figures out peddling the trike a head of times. He loves to 'drive'

If he is not 3, they will not let him ride, I had this problem as my son was also tall. They will ask him how old he is - if he doesn't answer they will ask you, but have the option of turning you away if they feel the age is wrong.

Edited to add: I took my son for his 2nd birthday and he had fun, although there were rides he wanted to go on and couldn't. I felt once he turned the 3 the park was actually worth the price.
