I asked this over in the Southern Calif. forum but didn't get a reply so thought I would try here. Does anyone know how accomodating LegoLand is for a child in a wheelchair? Is it fairly accessible?

I have never been there yet as it is a 90 minute drive from me. It is up to ADA standards as it is a newer park. I suggest you call and ask for their disabled brochure. From the pictures of the park I would say that it is much like WDW in the getting on and off of rides. Of course this would be a good excuse for me to go there, lol, scouting expedition. Check with youtube for videos.

WAY at the end is a list of rides and letters assigned to show which rides have limitations.

A Guests who cannot physically help themselves into the ride
must ride with an assistant capable of helping them off the
ride in case of an emergency.
B This ride not suitable for sight-impaired guests.
C Driver must be able to use the pedal and steer.
D Guests must be able to sit in an upright position without
assistance.
E Ride not recommended for those with high blood pressure,
heart, neck, back problems, or other physical limitations.

They have a version of a GAC, but you have to go to guest relations every day that you are there as they will only issue it for one day at a time.
With the card if there is 3 or less in your party (or its quiet) you will be allowed on to the ride asap, but if you have more people or long lines you will be given a time on your card to return, then you ride stright away.
I found the park is best anti clockwise.....less hills, but still some.

Thank you both very much. I will ask for a brochure and I appreciate the insight! We are only going for one day so a single day GAC is fine! But we are a party of 6 - 2 parents 4 kids - so I guess we will get return times which is fine!
