Legoland Brick or Treat, silly or scary?

We're planning an early October trip to San Diego with our 2 and 3 year olds and I just saw that the day we want to go to Legoland is one of the "brick or treat" nights. We aren't big on Halloween in our family (we're not that family that turns out the lights and locks the doors, though. Its more like: cute costumes, carving pumpkins and candy, yes; witches and goblins, gore and skeletons, no thanks)
Is there anyone out there who's been for Brick or Treat night and can tell me what it's like? Is it pretty light hearted and toddler friendly, or are there more scary elements? I've noticed that its divided into daytime (12-5) and evening (5-9) events. What is different in the evening?
I'd really like to still go on the Saturday since that's the only day that the Waterpark is open while we're there, but I don't want to take my kids if the whole park is decked out in head to toe Halloween that day. Any tips?

Perhaps we were only there during the daytime, but there was certainly nothing scary. Even the candy path is not scary. I think you'll be fine. The entire park is themed for young kids.

We did this on Halloween Day a few years ago. It was perfect with little ones.
