Legoland has updated their Brick or Treat party night information and it is now a separate ticket event. It's also on some Friday nights as well as the original Saturday nights shown in their last calendar, or was that 2 calendars ago :rotfl2:

I've been planning a trip since May and I was sure that it was included with a park hopper ticket before (can anyone confirm or deny that?). It's very frustrating that Legoland keeps changing the information posted on their website. Especially since you have no way of knowing what has changed.

It was included in the park hopper and you could also get a ticket for it if you didn't have a regular park ticket that day. Check to see if that is still the case this year. Last year when we went it was super-crowded so if they have limited it to only party ticketed guests that may not be the worst thing.

Edit: Well I just checked and you are correct it is a separate ticket only. That stinks you have to pay more, though maybe it will help control the crowd.

The thing that bothers me the most is that when I started planning the trip the website said it was included with the ticket price. Now it's extra. I like to plan things out and it's hard when things keep changing.

I don't remember it stating it cost extra, when I first planned our trip.

When did they add the "Separate ticket required" note to the description of the event?

I know that if I had planned on attending the event, I would have been very bummed to find it cost extra.

In the end we didn't go to the park that Saturday night, but waited until Sunday to go.
We did see the fireworks from our hotel, across the street.

It is strange that tickets in advance cost more than if one buys the ticket the night of the event.
DisneyLand prices their Halloween Party the opposite (less if I buy in advance).

We got a package from the hotel with tickets and our room and the hotel person and his manager specifically said that it didn't include Brick or Treat, there was no way to add Brick or Treat, and that it would be $30 extra to add it or $20 extra to add it the day of. And yes that did seem backwards to me to, punish someone for trying to buy ahead of time :confused3 Anyway, when we got to the park that day and tried to buy Brick or Treat tickets at the wristband booth they said they were included.

Seriously no one knows whats going on at that place. But we had fun and ended up spending less than we planned by booking a room package at the last minute and getting Brick or Treat for free. So it's all good.
