We are doing a San Diego/Anaheim vacation next month with a Monday being the travel day from San Diego to Anaheim in a rental car. My boys are 14 and 12. They have never been to Legoland - we should have taken them when they were younger and totally into Lego. I know that they are too old now, but we would still like to see it. I was thinking we would just spend a half day there (I can get some coupons to make the price better). So then I thought since Knotts has a special half day price after 4 pm we could spend the rest of the day there (and have the chicken dinner too!). We wouldn't get to see everything at Knotts, but that is OK we could just do the main stuff I guess. So is this a crazy idea?
