This sounds like a silly question but can you take your centerpieces with you after the wedding? My BEO says the vases are rented but what about the actual flowers? I am trying to work out all the last minute details! :)

I'm pretty sure that you and your guests can take the flowers with you, but be sure you don't take valuable containers or anything that is rented. For example, Disney Floral is renting lanterns to us for our reception and no one will take those home.

I took all my flowers home (well back to our villa) and just left the vases and the stuff we rented. We were there a week after the wedding and the flowers stayed good all that time. I made a table of wedding things to remind me of how great it was. Just be warned though... the flowers weighed a ton, so make sure you get your guests to carry them! :)
Here is the best man taking my centerpieces, and the table I made.

Great news! I am actually using a bucket as part of my guest book so I think I am just going to load it up! We are immediately leaving for the DP so I am hoping bell services will deliver the bucket with the rest of my stuff to my room. That should be interesting :scared1:

We carted ours around on our honeymoon...from GF to a studio at SSR (for one night) and then to SSR 1BR for the remaining time. I couldn't bear to throw the pretty flowers away.

But, I had my bouquet preserved, so that got sent away after the MK photos.

We took our floral (actually our families did) and brought them home. Most of the centerpieces were given to wedding guests or family friends that live down here. My mom took apart our garland and broke apart the (roughly) 20 dozen roses into petals and decorated our house before we got home 3 weeks later from our honeymoon. It was great! Super sweet of her! :lovestruc We also were able to take home our napkin rings b/c disney floral made those and we paid for them. :thumbsup2
Here's them the morning after the wedding:

Like Heidi- I had my bouquet preserved so that was sent after the MK shoot. The only flowers I kept during our time in WDW were my wedding day red roses from DH and the tea roses we got from our floral planner. :goodvibes

Wow, it is a lot of flowers when they are all grouped together! We will definitely take them and figure out something to do with them!
