We are at WDW right now doing a Poly/WL split-stay. Got DDP for both portions of our trip. We are moving to the WL tomorrow. Will our remaining dining credits from the Poly transfer over to our WL room card automatically? Or will they transfer over if we ask?

Thanks!:goodvibes

They don't transfer. You need to use them by midnight tomorrow or they expire.

No and no. The credits are only valid for the specific reservation they're tied to, so use 'em up!

The above posts are correct - credits don't transfer between reservations. You must use your credits from the Polynesian by midnight after you check out of there. And you'll need to carry your Polynesian key card in order to use those credits.

Each set of credits is good until midnight on the check out day of that specific resort. Not just that, but something I found out the hard way is that you can not combine credits from the two stays on that last night of the first check out on one ticket. Meaning that if you check out of the Poly tomorrow and into the WL and want to dine at a 2 credit Signature restaurant, make sure you have two credits left on that Poly key.:rolleyes1 You may have to use the WL key for lunch and then go back and use the Poly key for dinner.

A year or so ago, I did a split stay and planned on dining at the Yachtsman that night for dinner. I was on the DxDDP for both stays and thought I could just use one left over credit from my first stay with a credit from my second stay. Wrong! Both credits had to come off the same room key, so I had to use the key from the second stay and just wasted that last dining credit on the first stay's room key. Now granted, I was solo. If I had been with someone, I would have been able to use the two credits that would have been left from the first stay and we could have gotten two separate checks and my other family member could have then used the key from the second stay to pay for their dinner.

Something else to remember are your snack credits. Make sure you use all of your snack credits from the first stay by midnight of that check out day. They will not be any good the next day.
