Left messages for chefs, no calls back?

I left a message for both Cape May and for 1900 PF earlier this week and I didn't get a call back from either.

All I wanted to know is if Cape May uses peanut oil to cook for their clambake since many seafood places do and if my daughter could participate in the Wonderland Tea Party with her peanut allergy. (I've already booked that one.)

Wonder why I didn't get a call back? I've called chefs before and always got a prompt response.

We called and it was almost a week before we got called back.

Yep, still no call from either. I could see one, but both calls I made no response? Bummer. Guess I'll have to keep trying and be a pain to get an answer? I hope not. They are usually so good.

They cook with canola oil at Cape May.

Your daughter can attend the Tea Party. They usually serve Uncrustables when they serve peanut butter on sandwiches, so that there's no loose pb around. If your daughter has a severe allergy, let them know, and they won't serve peanut butter to anyone who participates in the event.

This happened on one of ds' Pirate Cruises. There was a child with severe peanut butter allergies, so they served jelly sandwiches to all of the kids... since ds HATES jelly sandwiches, he wasn't pleased .
