LeCellier - What's the difference between Lunch and Dinner

I've not been to LeCellier before, but plan to try for an ADR on our November trip. We will be on the Dining Plan so cost is not the primary driver.

My first question is what is the difference (other than menu price) between Lunch and Dinner. My specific interests are regarding the steak entrees and/or the desserts. Are the portions smaller at Lunch, is the quality different? Or do they just charge more for Dinner because people just usually spend more at dinner?

Also, based on all of the reviews I'm thinking of trying to book it twice (if I get that lucky) for my 12 day trip. Do you think that is excessive? Do you think I should try for lunch one day and dinner a different day? Or are lunch and dinner the same experience such that it doesn't matter.

P.S. Our party is 4 including me, DW, DD(6), DS(4) and the kids very recently discovered that they like steak so DW and I will surely have to share a portion of our steak with the kids since there is no steak on kids menu.

The menu's are similar but the lunch menu only has two steak choices. It has a lot of sandwiches including a steak burger. The dinner menu has a lot of steak choices for dinner including my personal favorite, the kansas city strip.

Desserts and appetizers are near identical between the two menus.

And twice is fine for a 12 day trip.. its absolutely delicious and they have lots of different choices.

I believe the filet at lunch time is 5 oz., compared to it being 7 oz. at dinner.

About $15 per person.

As mentioned before, there are a few menu differences, and the fillet is smaller, but lunch is also considerably cheaper (not that it matters if you are on DDP).

I didn't even try for a dinner reservation as I thought it would be too tough to get. Although when I called for my ADR's on Thursday there was a dinner ressie available but I already had my plans fine-tuned so stuck with lunch. I do believe there is a steak on the kids' menu....at least there used to be.
