Going to LeCellier for hubby who plans on the filet. Me however I don't love steak. I do like prime rib but sounds like it is kindof fatty there. What about the chicken? What would you recomend if a person wasn't going to get a steak.....(now I'm hungry lol) :goodvibes

We were there the other day. I got the mushroom filet (SO GOOD) and my DH got the salmon done two ways and he really enjoyed it. I love steak so I never order anything other than that when we go out to eat.

Last time we ate here, my DH and his mom had the pan seared scallops which they absolutely loved! I had the mushroom filet which was heavenly but if you're not looking for steak, maybe give the scallops a try! Check out the disney food pics thread here on the restaurant board and search for Le Cellier. I'm pretty sure I posted pics of the scallops over there a couple of months ago.:goodvibes

The last time I went there (in March), I wanted a steak but it's just too much for me! So I got the appetizer trio which included some crab cakes, cheddar soup, and tomato/mozz salad. I had him bring some extra pretzel breadsticks (HEAVEN!!!) to dip in the soup and I split the spicy sausage & polenta appetizer but that was REALLY spicy. Great, but spicy. So you can absolutely find some yummy things on the menu! In the past, I've also gotten the duck appetizer (I like a dinner of appetizers :thumbsup2).
Have fun!

About three years ago, I order what I believe was a mustard basted chicken there. It came with the cream cheese mashed potatoes. It was one of the best meals of my entire trip.

I seem to have a hard time figuring out if the item if still offered on the menu though, as it seems to make appearances only to disappear and then cycle back through.

I am so not a steak eater and DH loves steak so Le Cellier is a must do every trip. We do the DDP and on the last two trips the server has let me get a soup & salad and a side. Though the cheddar soup can be a meal in itself. I'm gonna have to try dipping the breadsticks next time. Thanks sounds good.

I had the scallops last Sept. It was, by far, the best meal of my trip. I was so looking forward to having them again but we were at LeCellier on April 26 and they were not on the menu. I was so disappointed! I had the fish that had replaced the scallops and it was good but it wasn't the same. In fact, I don't even remember what kind of fish it was.

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I was SO disappointed that the scallops were gone
grrr

I had the gnocchi though and it was really yummy
