I am doing mostly characer buffets for the kids, but I would LOVE to go to this place!! It would be me, DH, my parents, and DS(8), DD(6), and DS(2 1/2)...do you think the kids would do okay there? Is it a really quiet restaurant? Any thoughts??? THanks!

Are they well behaved? It's your normal slightly nice restaurant. It wasn't totally quiet but a loud child was excused from the restaurant. I was glad to see them go as our littlest was asleep! But we had our other 3 awake. So it's kid friendly as long as they have restaurant manners.

My niece who was almost 6 when we went and enjoyed it. She had steak and loved getting a smoothie.

We went in December with our two girls 2.5 and 6. It was not problem. Your kids (and you) will love the bread they bring out to the table (pretzel, sourdough and multigrain.) It's definitely not a quiet restaurant. There were lots of kids there. The place is kind of cramped when it's full so there's lots of noise, just with everyone talking. It's much more casual than the signature dining steak places. We haven't tried those yet with two young girls and the fact that they take 2 TS credits (we're kind of cheap that way, but we will give one a try someday.)

The NY strip was awesome. Best steaks we have ever tasted. MY DH want to eat every meal at Le Cellier for our next trip. It was delicious, but I don't think I could handle every meal there, but definitely a few!

Definitely give it a try.

We went to Le Cellier this past September with our 7-year old DD and infant (15 month old) DS. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and we felt very comfortable having the kids there. DD ordered steak and loved it. DS was pretty quiet while we were there, but I noticed the restaraunt was somewhat quieter than others we have visited(then again, we also had the last dinner reservation of the evening). I would say your kids should be fine there - hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Kids of any age are perfectly acceptable at Le Cellier. The only place I would not bring a child to at Epcot is Bistro de Paris.

Go and take your kids and don't worry. Rememeber, most of the people at WDW have kids w/ them, so you'll see plenty of kids inside there. Just like anywhere, stress table manners w/ your children and you'll be fine. We've always taken our children and never felt out of place.

We've been taking our children since they were less than a year old. It doesn't have the characters that could entertain them, but it's definitely not quiet. It's a casual restaurant with many children. Actually, we've had great waitstaff there who spent a lot of time speaking to our children (maybe because we're from Canada as well) about many places. The restaurant is a little dark but not enough to make a difference.

Each section is a different Province. The waitstaff sometimes tells the children a little about where you're sitting. A few times, my son was asked what he knew about the Province we were sitting in and they were quite surprised of how much he knew. It was strange though, that we have gone there a lot of times and not once did we sit in our Province.

And again, I wouldn't worry about it, it's a casual restaurant with good food. :)

Have fun!:thumbsup2

I have received a ton of Kid Tips were kids say they love Le Cellier! It is one of the top picks among kids at Epcot. Go and enjoy!

I have been to Le Cellier multiple times with kids. Our last trip we had a 12 year old, two 9 year olds, a 4 year old, and a 2 year old.

They have a nice selection of food on the kids menu

As long as they can behave (ie, not scream their heads off) you should be fine.

We were there for the first time in January. Both of my children (ages 9 and 5) really enjoyed it. It was definitely lower-key than some of the other restaurants we visited, but I felt very comfortable with my kids there and felt that they were welcomed by the staff, etc.
