Leaving very soon, please help!

Hello Dis board, Everyone here seems like disney experts! I usually like to plan trips and do my research and I thought I had untill I saw all of this!

Basically here it is- I am leaving very soon, on march 7-13 and booked at POR, with dining and park hopper. I booked with a aaa agent so i assume i received a better rate than a rack rate. Is there anythin else anyone reccomends about getting any money off or package upgrades, even tips on a room upgrade at POR would be welcome, we have stardard view double beds now.

Me and my girlfreind are not as experianced travelers as all of you here so please help,, ( wish I found this great site sooner)

Did you compare the rate you got with AAA vs what you would get on DisneyWorld.com ? That will tell you if the AAA agent applied the right rates.

At checkin, you can always, very politely ask "Are there any upgrades available?" - if there are, the CM will either give you one for free, or tell you how much it would cost. Others may have better advice.

We can help check your math if you post your total and the type of tickets you got and for how many days and with what options.

Hi! What rate did you get? You probably did about as well as you can with a package since there aren't any package deals out right now. Have you made any dining plans? There are tons of wonderful places to eat at WDW. You are your gf should have a wonderful trip. Why don't you surprise her with a carriage ride at your resort!

Thanks, a carridge ride is a great idea, i guess you arange that from the main building at the hotel? Do you have any sugestions for good romantic places to eat that are sit down but do not use up 2 dinners each from the plan. Or if there is a 2 credit place that you think is extra special and worth it please advise.
