I think Free Dining is a STEAL! And I only have 2 adults....I can't imagine being able to fill a room with kids and everyone eat free!

I saw on the resort board (in the code section) that peolpe were getting lots of pin codes in their emails.... but I wans't one of them. Then someone mentioned they had signed up to have the new 2009 planning dvd sent and as a result, they got a pin code sent to them the next day. Sooooooooooo........... being the clever girl that I am, I signed up to get a dvd sent to me and sure enough........ I got a pin code the next day (maybe even the same day?) for Adults pay kids prices and free dining for the days I will be there in November. So- we're staying 3 days at the GF, getting free dining and 5 day passes (paying kids prices for them). Now..... Jim and I already have AP's, so we'll save the 5 day passes for next fall when we take the whole fam for Thanksgiving.

So...... that's my story. Maybe it can be yours too! GIVE IT A TRY! Ya never know!

YES!!! You reminded me...... I signed up for the dvd in Jim's name as well because I ahd a,lready received one and thought if I used Jim's name there would be a better chance of receiving a code- and sure enough ...... it happened!

When I made arrangements for our stay, POR was available under my code!

I should tell you, they were sending out about 4 or 5 different codes to people, so you might get a code, but it might be for a stay 4 days get 3 days free, or something like that- which, of course is different then the code I got. GOOD LUCK!

Did you know if you go a week earlier than you are planning, you could get TWO rooms at a value for less than what you are willing to pay at Port Orleans? OR, save $21 per night for P. Orleans?

Oct. 1st. is the date the prices go up.

Just trying to look out for a Dis'er Sistah. LOL

[We'll be in THREE rooms this trip!!! And it's STILL cheaper than 2 rooms at P. Orleans with a trundle. Which I didn't even figure into my assesment, so if they charge more for the trundle rooms, the difference is even greater!]

I'm pretty sure the family camping trip will be on the weekend of September 19 this year! It's usually on Henry's birthday, so that would be the 3rd weekend in September.

I was just thinking that. I think it was earlier or later last year though, because my kids didn't get the extra day off that they would have for Fair Day. If they can change it for Dale, they can change it for me, right?

I just call and say I am checking on booking a room and wondered if there were any pin codes attached to my name. Or Lin's name. My mom and her husband always have a ton but they come to our house for some reason (from when we cruised and I had their cruise documents sent here I assume). I have only ever gotten one once here and i called and they kept telling me nope that wasn't right I didn't have one (but I did in my hand) but she found one in the system for me that was attached to an old address. After a guessing game (me guessing what address was on it) she put it through with that pin.

I chose Oct 3rd and it was I think $10 more a night vs going the week earlier but we couldn't go that week.
