We leave sunday morning - I think I am just really nervous :sad2: . Probable just 2 much to do and not enough time. I have a few last minute questions.

how far is the DTD monerail from the DLH?

I have 5pm PS for Goofy's, can we make it to the 7pm parade?

Driving from Dl to San Deigo, is it an easy drive (easy to navigate the freeways) and how bad will traffic be on wed?

Thanks!

I know how you feel, the closer the trip gets the more sure I am that I've forgotten something. I've even had nightmares where I've forgotten to pack and missed my flight. But relax, everything will be fine. :cool1:

As for as distance from monorail station to hotel, it's not too far a walk.

Can't say for sure about Goofy meal but since it's buffet you should be fine. Allow 1 hr or so to eat, hop on the monorail, get your viewing spot. The crowds at DL should be fairly low this time of year.

Driving from Anaheim to San Diego on Wednesday-wait time of day? If you're leaving during "rush" hour it'll take you a while to get out of Orange County. Rush hour on the 5 will be early in the a.m. and starting at around 4 p.m. You'll slow down through teh "Orange Crush" (3 freeways-the 5, the 22 (it's a mess-stay off it!, and the 57). It should take you a few hours to get to SD. Yes it's an easy drive-5 south to where the 405 becomes the 5. Stay on the 5 all the way to SD and follow signs to your destination-Seaworld, Zoo, Wild Animal Park, etc. If the 5 slows down around the 55 (Newport) you can go south on the 55 to 405 (San Diego) to the 5. There are several a.m. stations you can get local traffic on: 980 (KFWB) gives traffic every 10 mins. and 1070 (KNX) gives traffic on the ones (7:01, 7:11, etc.) also 790 (KABC) gives traffic reports every 15 min. or so.

Any more ??, I'll be happy to answer. Have a great trip! :sunny:

I wouldn't count on making that parade. If your party is large or they're busy, you might not be sitting down right at 5. Also, it can still take 90 minutes to get through it. Plus it's so fun, that you (or your kids) might not want to leave.

last minute advice? enjoy.
