Leaving parks and can’t get back in fears

So just realized when we go to Disney with our park hopper passes on dec 23-25 we probably should not leave to take a power nap and assume we will be allowed back into parks?! Anyone have thoughts or guesses to throw at me?

We went last year for Christmas and I set my expectations super low because I knew it would be crowded. However, I was presently surprised. While yes there were crowds, we were able to do everything we wanted to do and we park hopped. Other than me getting the flu and not being able to leave the room the last 2 days we had a fabulous trip. Not one park closed to my knowledge while we were there. I will say this, I did make a point of not being in the MK on Christmas Day. We are heading back this year Dec 20-28. Christmas is magical at the World. Have a great trip!

I wouldn't sweat it too much.
If you are staying at a WDW resort, you'll likely not be locked out of the park.

You'll have a much better feel for the crowds when you are there that day, so you can judge for yourself if you want to take a chance on leaving and returning.

If you're staying at a Disney resort, you'll only be turned away if there's a Phase 4 Closure, which means nobody is allowed in. If not, since you'll have park hoppers you'll be allowed in during Phase 1 & 2 closures.

Worst case scenario, with the park hoppers, if the park you want to go to won't let you back in, you could always go to another park for the remainder of the day.

Thank you all for responding! I have talked my husband along with our 22,20,18,and 17 yr to spend the night away from home on Christmas Eve for our Disney trip (22-26) and they go from girls being happy and boys wanting a stay-at-home Christmas...trying to give a little and let them sleep a little later vs pushing early start time and seeing what negotiation tools I can use like naps helps my planning! We do have fp at 10 one day for flight of passage so there will be some early wake up already

With those ages, let them decide their own destiny. If you want to rope drop, do it. I've been a sulky all-those-ages and I wouldn't have wanted to be with me then if someone was taking sleep away from me!

Should mention that I don't nap. Napping makes me feel like death. And I only do it when very sick (or when I was expecting my son). And the time needed to get out of the parks to transportation to the resort to the room to sleep then reverse it all is way too long for me.
