leaving parks after night shows - easier if its their late night?

not that it will be easy but
will it be easier leaving the parks after their night shows (Wishes, Fantasmic, Illuminations) on their late nights due to ppl staying later? not everyone will be leaving the parks at once?
the shows are still at their regular times, right? due to the ppl from off-site

We watched Wishes on an EMH night and it did seem that the park emptied out quite a bit. We felt like salmon heading upstream while we walked toward the castle because everyone was headed toward the front gate. We actually decided to abandon the idea of going around the castle because it was wall to wall people and took the bridge to Tomorrowland instead! It might be worth it to give it a few minutes and browse in the shops to let the crowds dissipate because there still seemed to be a mass exodus after the fireworks even though people were staying for EMH night.
