Leaving on Friday and I have a couple of questions

Hi. We're leaving Friday to drive down to WDW. We will be staying one night at PO French Quarter and 3 nights at Coronado Springs Resort. I was wondering the French Quarter was within walking distance to Downtown Disney. Also we were planning on going miniture golfing while we were at Coronado Springs. Is it easier to take the buses to get there or just drive? Thanks for all you help. We're so excited to be going.

From the FQ there is a boat that will take you to DTD and a bus as well. I am not sure about the walking part.

We usually drive to mini golf. When you check in you will be given a tee time. During the summer we have always had about an hour wait. We usually leave and go get ice cream or something and then go back. We have found that Winter/Summerland is usually a shorter wait then Fantasia Gardens.

As far as POFQ is concerned, it is a nice walk down to the boat dock on the river or a short walk to the POFQ bus pickups, but it is NOT a nice walk from POFQ to DTD unless you're some sort of race walker or marathon runner. It's a couple of miles with NO SIDEWALKS!

Take the boat or bus to DTD. That's what they're ther for.

Now, a nice walk over to POR (via the riverwalk) is a great idea and highly recommended!

I agree I believe you will need to take a boat or bus to DTD. You can however walk to POR if you feel like walking somewhere.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize how far of a walk that would be to get to Downtown Disney. Thanks for the advice. I'm so excited to be staying in two new-to-us resorts in one trip!!
