Leaving on 6/22 for our Road Trip down to the Fort from Connecticut

Leaving next friday (6/22) for our week at the Fort. THis is our first time camping at the fort in our TT. Usually stay at the resorts, but thought it would be a blast to use our TT this time instead.

Decided to split the trip into a day and a half drive down and back.

This next week is going to go so slow.....

Oh let me know how it goes!
We are driving the RV for our first trip at FW this Christmas and also driving from CT.
We've decided to boon dock in Wilkes- Barre the first night (DH frequents a Starbucks/Walmart that allows boon docking)
Then stopping at a KOA in Ashland Va and Yemasse SC on the way down and back.

We were supposed to be leaving the same day as you, but had to cancel the trip. Bummer, it would have been nice to meet up with other people along the way.

We are leaving between 2 and 3 am on june 23rd getting on 95 south in Baltimore. Have a preferred site booked till the 30th.

This is us except for DH now tows his silver Chevy HHR behind it.

DH is still deciding if he will let the kids decorate the back of the car.

Our first trip in the MH, we loved the trip down and back,the in our own place feeling, and being able to actually sit and enjoy a home cooked meal. We just never took the time to use any of the amenities the fort has to offer other than the a playground that was near our site.
