we will be arriving about noon on Thursday. We purchased the 5 day pass to IOA and US and wondered which park would be the best to visit for that first half/day?

Boys are 12/11/9 and we figured we might be lucky to miss some of the crowds that day. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Will you be staying onsite? If so, I would not worry about crowds and which park to do. When we go, we select the first park based upon which ride we are most anxious to get on. I have a feeling that this year we will head to US and get on ROTM.:scared1: . Although, usually we can't wait to get our Hulk fix so we head over to IOA first.

I think if I were arriving mid-day without FOTL - and with boys 9/11/12 - I would definitely hit IOA first. Especially if they have never been to US before - the look of IOA should knock their socks off and start the vacation out big !! My son was in awe the first time he walked through the superhero area and rode on Spiderman- then you can do the water rides to cool off. If you have 5 days to spend in the park you should have plenty of time to do everything, as long as you're willing to get there at opening the other days. Without FOTL I would head to ROTM first thing in the morning - I imagine the lines will be huge at any other time ! You're going to have so much fun with boys that age - Enjoy !!:smooth:

Depending on how crowded the parks are that day, I would actually advise going to to USF for the halfday. IOA's attractions waittimes can balloon during afternoon hours, while at USF, wait times can be bad, but there's other things to do such as shows (stage, street, and 3D.) I think more could be accomplished by going to USF first.

USF - Like you are doing, most people arrive to the park at 11am. Unlike the morning drive into work, rush hour at IOA and most parks is between 11am and 4pm. By the time you arrive at noon, all express passes will be gone, and the wait times will approach 1 hour.

USF has more shows and the movie attractions hold more people. MIB has the single rider line. Check the wait times of Twister and T2 near the front of the park, which hold alot of people. If the attractions are packed, go see a show, arriving 20 minutes before it starts. The huge attractions at USF right now are obviously The Mummy and Shrek. You may find others with a shorter wait
