Hi. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to leave your main luggage at a wdw hotel to go on a cruise? I'm planning an August 2018 family of four trip, looking to be in Florida for 3 weeks total, but may look to do a 3 day cruise in the middle. Just thinking we won't need all our luggage, so is there anyway the hotels would store your main luggage until you return, so we can just take a smaller case or two? Any help greatly appreciated!

If you are returning to WDW after your cruise, then yes you can do this. We have done it a couple of times. Take it to Bell Services before you leave (or have them collect it from your room), let them know which hotel you are returning to and the date and then Bell Services will bring it to your room once you are checked in (and in your room) when you return. Or you can collect it from Bell Services on your return.

we've also done it...
we did a cruise in the middle of our stay at pop century..
we were at Pop for 5 days, then did a 7 day cruise (on allure of the seas out of fort lauderdale) and then went back to pop century for another 3 days..

we left a LOT of luggage at bell services..
just as described in the post above, we brought our luggage down to them, told them when we would be back...
no problem at all.
and i don't think it cost anything, but i can't remember..
we did tip them both when we dropped off and picked up...

and i say it was a LOT of luggage because i'd had a ton of stuff shipped to us at pop century (i buy all of DH's clothes and shoes online in the USA and have it all shipped to our resort at WDW).
I had 4 suitcases full of new clothes and shoes (not just for DH, also new shoes and clothes for DD, DS and DSIL - all with weird shoe sizes that i can't buy at home). Anyway, it was a lot of stuff to leave. they didn't bat an eye..
.

Bell Services at most of the resorts are really good. We planned to fly to the States via Orlando, to California for a week then return to BC or GF for 2 weeks. Both Bell Services were agreeable and both advised us to let them know how long it would be held for so they could store it all in the appropriate area.

Agree with all of the above. We have left luggage with Bell Services and had them move it to another Disney hotel for us to pick up on checking to our post cruise hotel. Have a wonderful trip...

We have done it for 3 nights at Universal. We had to really explain to the resort when we got back and it took them a while to find our luggage but it worked fine.
