Leaving in the morning for 1st trip to DLR!

I'm so excited and so nervous! DH and I fly out tomorrow morning for our first trip to Disneyland. I didn't think I'd be so nervous, since we are WDW vets, but this is a whole new ballgame! Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is more street entertainment at DL. There's a very clever troupe of sectors that do a show in front of Diamond Horseshoe before the performances inside. And there is a reall great 'jazz singer in New Orleans Square.

I have never been to WDW but I have a huge feeling that things in DL will be a lot less intimidating then WDW. You only have the 2 parks and the 3 resorts. Its easier to get around and you dont have to worry about taking a bus or a boat from one park to the other. You can stand and see both parks at the same time. Its so wonderful. You will have so much fun. While you are there keep in mind that this is where it all started! Have a wonderfully great time. There is really no need at all to be nervous!! You can take your time in DL and not have to rush to see it all.

We're also WDW vets who just went to DLR for the first time! We were there last Thursday-Sunday, going to DL on Friday. It was a lot of fun. Different from WDW for sure, but good! I'd use a touring plan if I was you though. We definitely noticed an increase in crowds towards the end of our trip.

Dinner at Storyteller's Cafe was really yummy and a good value, considering the portions.
