Leaving in 4 days-still no DME tags!!***UPDATE***Leaving tomorrow, got tags today!!!

We're leaving Saturday morning and we still don't have our luggage tags from Magical Express. We got our first set 2 weeks ago, but there were so many mistakes, the person we spoke to at Disney said he would just cancel our original information and start fresh.

What do I do if the tags don't arrive on time?

The tags arrived, complete and correct, in today's mail just in time for our trip tomorrow morning! Yeah!!

Mine never came for my Sept trip--nor did they for several others in our party. When I went to check in they didnt have me in the system either but after a phone I was located and got right on the bus.
 
We did not get any for our June trip & we just got our own luggage & got on the bus.

We sat with a couple on the DME bus in August and they said they made their own bright yellow tags and put them on their luggage. They called the DME phone number and gave specific descriptions of their luggage (not sure if they did this before they left home or not) and were hoping their luggage would make it to POR. I never found out if it did or not. LOL.

Did you call the DME number?
 
Hi Susan -- it's me, Wendy.

We just got our tags TODAY (we leave in 4 days)!

I called them about 10 days ago, and they didn't have us in the system???

I asked what would happen if we didn't get in the tags -- they said that as long as we were registered with ME (which I verified), we would go down to the ME counter and give them the airport luggage claim tags with a description of our luggage. I was planning on putting something obvious on the luggage, and taking a pic with my camera and printing a picture before we left. They assused me that they do this all the time (but I feel much better now having the tags).

Well, it never occured to me to take a picture of the luggage-that is just brilliant! Thanks for the idea. If we don't get them tomorrow or Friday, I guess we'll just use the tags we have and write the correct information on them. I'm so excited to go I just can't stand it. Thankfully I have a two very busy days ahead or I'd be losing my mind.

If you provide DME at the airport with your baggage claim numbers they will get the luggage and transport it to the resort.

Hey . We leave sun from philly and they didnt have my nephews tags that was sent to us week ago. I called yesterday they said dont worry about it, just mark your bags with something and let them know at the desk when you arrive at mco ..
