Leaving in 3 days - is this a good 1 day plan?

Hi everyone! We are leaving this weekend (Sept 6) for our highly anticipated trip to Orlando. We've been to US/IAO several years ago and it was such a blast! Due to scheduling, we will only be able to spend one day at US, bypassing IAO for another time.

In order to make the most of our one day, I've created a rudimentary tour plan and wanted to know if you think this would be reasonable or should we be expecting long waits. We are not staying on site and are not purchasing express passes. We expect to be there for park opening.

This is the order I'm planning:

The Simpsons Ride
Men in Black
Revenge of the Mummy
Twister
Jaws
Disaster
Shrek
Jimmy Neutron
ET
Terminator

All advice appreciated - thanks so much for reading!

Sounds like a winner to me and it's very smart to do The Simpsons first thing. :thumbsup2

the newest rides in the parks, always have the longest lines.

get to the park turnstile at 8:30.
it is common to have the tm's let you in around that time period.

not all rides are opened at 8:30 though.
some don't open until 10, such as jaws.

If you're in a rush I'd skip Disaster if you've been on it before. The ride itself hasn't changed and the preshows take up a good bit of time that could be better spent elsewhere IMHO. If only you could bypass the shows and go straight to the ride it would be great but since you can't I'd move it further down the list, maybe right before Terminator.

I like your plan. But don't forget the Horror Make-up Show.

Is the Horror Makeup Show fun? I've never been to that. Sounds cool - I'll definitely add it in!
