Leaving in 20 days...and I feel the need to pack!

How far in advance does everyone else begin to pack things? It still seems too early, but I don't know how much longer I can hold off..the excitement is getting to me

Erm...
Well i wanted to pack about 2 weeks before our last Holiday, But nobody would let me so i ended up begging them to let me do it about 5 days before our trip, I usually start my packing about 1 week before, It also helps if you make a list before you start your packing

I totally understand! We leave about a week after you and I am already starting my lists. It is so hard to plan due to the weather this time of year. We went in Dec in 2004, and we were in mittens and coats the first two days! Later, we were able to go swimming.

I usually make lists of out fits for the kids first. Dh and I get packed a few days before we leave. Good luck!

Go ahead, start the packing, you will have time to change your mind for the next 19 days

we bring our suitcases up from the basement 1 month prior to departure,
our suitcases are opened on the spare bed, each day as we think of different things not to forget, we toss it in.

I start gathering and packing WAY before a Dis trip...ALL of my friends and now my Honey tease me about it.

Make a pack list....that helps and no one will give you as much grief over it!

WE won't be forgetting stuff this way!!!

We leave in 17 days and I will start getting things ready this weekend! With the craziness of the holidays I say get it done early!
