I am leaving in 14 days and was injured in a car accident not severely but most of the damage was done to my neck and face by the airbags in car. So know I am really looking forward to my trip. Probably cant do alot of rides that I want too.

So sorry to hear about your accident! You'll be amazed at how much better you feel in two weeks. I would get your doctor's advice on what rides you might want to skip on this trip. Get plenty of rest so you can heal!

Get lots of rest/sleep/relaxing in over the next 2 weeks. Once you arrive, don't be too proud to use a wheelchair. If it keeps your energy levels up so you can enjoy your trip as planned then use one. Happy healing!

You've gotten the best advice anyone can offer---Get plenty of rest. My family was in a car accident just over a month ago and we're all doing better. I find things tend to ache more and I get tired quickly when I try to do too much. So resting is key to getting healthy again. Take it slow, drink lots of fluids, and sit down when you feel tired. At least that's what I'm being told.

does the damage stop at your chin? (you did say face)
and hows the inside pain or does it look worse than it feels?

I am so glad that you are okay by the looks of the car it could have been worse. I work for a body shop and see wrecked cars everyday so I am really glad that you are okay.

All of the damge was from the Airbag and the powder in the airbag.

Yes another car hit me and drove me into a metal pole from what I was told. I was side swiped by the car which in turn caused me to have a head on collision with a pole.

Majority is neck some face. Chest is black and blue.(Cant show those pics) posting another pic.

My face is normally not read so all the redness on my cheek is from the airbag

one that has a little more of my face.

Stings more than anything few bruises other places. Feels like my face and neck sticks to the pillow at night. Not getting much sleep. Other than that fine for the most part.

You poor thing..... I hope you feel better before your trip.... Your poor neck! Really looks sore. BUT 2 weeks can make some difference, you will probably be feeling a whole bunch better..... Good Luck and Best wishes for speedy recovery....

They havent restricted anything yet. But going back on the 5th of Sept so they will probably say something then.

I know it stinks, but that powder is a byproduct of being able to keep your life. I think Disney will be just what you need. If you are into Chirpractic, you may want to get in a couple of visits before your trip!
