Leaving in 10 days...still no ME Luggage Tags..now what????

OKay I have done this before so I know the ME tags usually come several weeks before our trip, so when I didn't get them I called and they said they would send them right out...a week later I called again...was told they would send that day...it's been another week and we are leaving in 10 days...they have my correct address etc. what could be the problem??? What do I do if they don't arrive in time...should I call AGAIN????

I'd call. It can't hurt and maybe they've already been sent.

Who have you been calling??? Disney or DME??? That makes a difference.

If your packet doesn't get to you, you can either collect your own bags and take them to the bus with you, or you can go directly to DME checkin and give them the necessary baggage info and they will send someone to get the bags for you and deliver them to your resort.

call them. They will send them to you asap by UPS.. that's what they did for us last October. I received them 3 days later

True! Call DME direct. The number is 1-866-599-0951. You should have received the DME tags about 30 days out. If I haven't received them by 2 1/2 weeks out, I just call DME directly. This has happened to me twice and after calling DME directly have always received them within just a couple of days.

Speaking of which, I need to be on the look out for mine. I should be receiving them within the next couple of weeks. I just love Disney mail! lol

Heck yeah...that is most certainly the problem!!! Let us know how it works out. When DME does it directly, it seems to work better.

We are leaving 8/9 and just got our tags on 7/29. But i had to call last week to tell thenm we still hadn't received the tags. I would call.

For some reason if you do not get your tags do not panic. When you go to the Magical Express Counter at the Orlando airport, you can just give them your baggage tags (little white tags from the airline you get when checking your bags) We just did this in January and it worked out fine. Our luggage showed up in our room a few hours later as it usually does with no problem.
