Leaving for WDW on Fri- DS2 broke my toe!!!

Ugh! So we leave on Friday morning for our much awaited vacation that I have planned to the most minute detail. I now have one more thing to pack- a velcro boot for my foot!! DS2 stepped on it this weekend with all of his 35 pounds and fractured my toe and it is very hard to walk around the house, let alone our resort and the parks!

Of all the things to happen!!!

I just needed to vent.

Bless your heart...I stubbed mine so bad the week before we left, wrapped it tight and wore socks so it was ok. I hope it eases up as the week goes on.

Yes, it runs in the family. My mom has passed it down to me and I have now passed it down to my DD5. My last one was March 17th. The only shoes I could wear were my crocs and flip flops for over a month. My dried feet were loving me. So at night before bed I would wrap my toes with athletic tape and slather on the foot cream, put on socks and hope for a little less pain in the morning. I could only wear socks at night and forget about putting a tennis shoe on.

I recommend going through your closet and finding the absolute most comfortable pair of shoes you can find and elevate your foot as much as possible.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes! It is getting easier to walk on but I still can't get my sneaker on.

I feel better because we will be in WDW tomorrow, broken toe and all!
